The Junction City Elks Lodge #1037 has donated cleaning supplies and made a financial donation to the Junction City Animal Shelter.
Members of Junction City Elks Lodge dropped off over $500 in cleaning supplies and kennels for the Junction City Animal Shelter this week. They also made a $550 donation to Max’s Fund at the animal shelter.
According to Vanessa Gray, Director of the Junction City Animal Shelter, "Max's Fund is a donation-based fund that anyone can apply for through the animal shelter. It is there to assist pet owners with vet bills or supplies as needed." They can apply twice a year, and approval is based on availability of funds in the account.
