RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Monday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz driven by Larry Limbocker, 78, of Manhattan, struck a pedestrian identified as Collin Rankin, 21, of Manhattan, who was in the crosswalk.
Rankin was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Limbocker was issued a citation for failure to stop at a red light.
