Fort Riley woman hospitalized after car struck a deer

MACON COUNTY, Mo. —One person was injured in an accident just after 1a.m. Tuesday in Macon County Missouri.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Ford Focus driven by  Geneva L. Perez-Nuez, 44, Fort Riley, was westbound on Highway 36 five miles east of Maconm.

The car struck a deer in the road. Macon County ambulance transported Perez-Nuez to Samaritan Hospital in Macon. She was properly restrained, according to the MSHP.
