FORT RILEY, Kan. - The 1st Infantry Division has announced the launch of the official 1ID website, the new platform created by the division to serve as an additional form of communication for all things 1st Infantry Division. The website goes live today, Feb. 3.
Capabilities of the website includes the latest photos, videos and news releases for the Big Red One, as well as links to additional resources for current, future and former Soldiers and families. The information and links to content provides people with a better understanding of the 1st Infantry Division and our mission. The 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley are committed to providing transparency and this website will aid the division in providing timely and accurate information to the public.
“We want to continue to provide pertinent information to our Soldiers, families, and the public about the Fighting First,” said Brig. Gen. Naïve Knell, Deputy Commanding General – Support, for the division. “Creating this website allows us to continue connecting with our people and visitors who want to know more about the 1st Infantry Division. It’s a priority to always place our Soldiers and their families first, especially those preparing to join our team.”
