
MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an Illinois man in connection with an August 2020 domestic violence incident in Manhattan.
On Thursday the Will County, Illinois Sheriff's department in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals in Joliet, IL., arrested 24-year-old Isain Misael Lopez, 24, of Joliet, IL., on a Riley County District Court warrant, according to a media release from the RCPD.
The Riley County District Court warrant for Lopez’s arrest stemmed from the investigation of an August 2020 domestic incident at a local hotel. He was arrested on requested charges that include aggravated kidnapping, aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.
Lopez was extradited Thursday night to the Riley County Jail; he is currently confined on a $250,000 bond.

Police are expected to release additional details in the case Friday.
