
In top doubles action at the Kossover Tennis Center in Topeka Tuesday the Junction City team of Cesar Edgerton Diaz Lorenzo and Alex Matthews went 3-1 and finished in third place.
In the second flight of doubles the Blue Jays had three entries. The team of Alan Leis and Carl Baskerville finished in seventh place with a 2-2 record. The other two double teams of Nate Rollins and Ethan Moneypenny and David Trammell and Chris Beers finished 1-3.
In singles play Deerick Hernandez picked up the lone singles win, going 1-2 in the third singles flight. The other two singles players were Hayden Diestelkamp in the top singles flight and Sebastian Schultz in the number two bracket.
The tournament was hosted by Washburn Rural.
