Several Students have provided Christmas Cheer during the holidays this year.

Vicki Bobbitt, the Executive Director of I.C.A.R.E, said that on Dec. 16, 225 Sheridan Elementary students visited Valley View Senior Life and sang Christmas Carols to residents. In addition, Mrs. Slaughter's first-grade class had fun coloring Christmas trees with residents.

Other highlights include Grandview Elementary STUCO & honor students and Junction City/Fort Riley Homeschoolers serving approximately 75 older adults lunch at the annual Christmas Luncheon at the Geary County 4H Senior Center. Entertainment was done by the Junction City Community Choir.

There are 28 Pen Pal letter exchanges, along with approximately 150 Christmas Cards & gifts from students at the HD Karns and Spring Valley Elementary School to older adults in the community.
