By Dewey Terrill - JC Post, Junction City Main Street
Zetta's has opened at 112 W. 7th Street in downtown Junction City.
The shelves include items ranging from trinkets and antique dishes, to upcycled furniture, and fun decor. Zetta's aims to repurpose, upcycle and promote Made in America products, while also supporting handmade, local artists. The business is owned by Kari Crump-Underhill and is named after her grandmother, Zetta
Zetta inspired the range of items that stretch along the walls at 112 E 7th Street. She had traveled the world, collecting treasures.
Kari also noted that there is nothing else like this business in Junction City, and she has had 10 years of experience running a similar store in Emporia.
Crump-Underhill said that her ultimate goal is to make this both a brick and mortar store but also by this fall a click and mortar store where customers can purchase items online. Store hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and by appointment. The store logo was designed by Kari Crump-Underhill's daughter, Madison Bailey.
Zetta's also plans to support local and regional artists who showcase Kansas products.
