Republicans including local, state and congressional candidates made the Holiday Inn Express in Junction City a campaign stop Friday morning.
Mike Brown, State Republican Party Chairman, told a gathering of Republicans that nobody agrees they're better off than four years ago. He noted that the Biden administration "has led America down a very rough patch."
Congressional candidate Derek Schmidt noted that the "election is about choosing folks who will advocate on our behalf."
Local and state candidates in attendance included Eric Coffman, Courtney Gilbert, Shawn Chauncey, Kathy Tremont, Mike Argabright, Nate Butler and Keith Ascher. Representatives for Sen. Jerry Moran and Congressman Roger Marshall were also present.
