The Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce and Junction City Main Street officially hosted a grand opening / ribbon cutting for Flint and Vine in Junction City last week.
Along with her family, Makena Krause cut the ribbon to officially open her business in Downtown Junction City. Also at the grand opening, Junction City Main Street presented Krause and her family with their First Downtown Dollar.

Makena Krause is a co-owner of the Wine bar, the other co-owner is her father Louis Plourde. "We enjoy going to Kansas wineries," Makena Krause said. "We wanted to have our favorite wines in our favorite community."
Flint and Vine Wine Bar is located at 714 N. Washington Street in Junction City.
"We are the first and only designated wine bar that is focused on promoting Kansas Wines," Krause said.
Along with being a new small business owner in the Junction City community, Makena Krause is also the Events and Community Outreach Coordinator for Junction City Main Street as well.
