The Military Affairs Council will host Armed Forces Day activities in the parking lot across from the Junction City Municipal Building on Saturday, May 18th from 8:30 a.m. until noon.

There will also be a partnership with the MainStreet organization who will be hosting their Main Street Market at that location on that day.

According to MAC Director Isreal Waddell, the Armed Forces Day activities will include a speaker, Sgt. Maj. of the Army ( Ret.) Michael Grinston and U.S. Sen. Roger Marshall, who will also attend and make remarks. There will be Soldiers, a stage, static displays, food trucks and a DJ.
