The Fort Riley 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony will be held on Post on Sheridan Avenue at the Global War on Terrorism Memorial It includes a small replica of the World Trade Center Towers on a Pentagon-shaped base. It bears the names of 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley Soldiers who gave their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq.
It will be held on Friday, September 11 at 10 a.m.
Soldiers and First Responders; Col. Joey Orr, Fort Riley Garrison Commander will provide remarks.
