Expect a dry, pleasant Friday before another round of precipitation moves into the area, the National Weather Service in Topeka said.
The high Friday is expected to be near 50 degrees, before winds pick up Friday night, sustained at 10 to 20 mph and gusting to 30 mph.
There is a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday, mainly after noon. The high Saturday will be in the mid-50s, and the winds will persist through the weekend. Any chance of precipitation should taper by midnight Saturday.
Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a daytime high near 50.
The next chance of rain in the long-term forecast is a slight chance Tuesday and Wednesday, the NWS said.
