RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged animal cruelty in Riley County.
Just before 1:30p.m. Monday, officers filed a report of animal cruelty in the 6000 block of Tuttle Terrace, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
Vet Med staff reported to officers a cat was brought in that had been shot by an arrow on April 20. Vet Med treated the cat who has made a recovery and has since been taken to the shelter. The suspect in this matter is unknown.
