Jane Schenck, 62 of Abilene passed away March 19, 2024.
She was born October 27, 1961 the daughter of Robert and Doris (Holm) Schenck. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1980 and went on to receive her B.S. in accounting at Emporia State University. On November 11, 2011 she was united in marriage to Mark Biggs. He preceded her in death February 17, 2023. Jane worked 30 years for WardCraft Homes in Clay Center as a comptroller and HR Manager.
Jane is survived by her sister, Robin Schenck of Garden City, Kansas. Two brothers, Tim and wife Susan of Abilene and Jason of Arlington, Texas. Two step-sons, Mark Biggs of Abilene and Austin Biggs and wife Shannon of Salina and two step-grandchildren, Caelyn Biggs and Caedyn Biggs. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Abilene. Burial will follow at Abilene City Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 p..m., at Danner Funeral Home.
