Junction City ( 2-17 ) will play at Topeka High ( 18-2 ) in the first round of the Class 6A Substate Tournament Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
Lady Jay coach Tim Testa noted that he thinks Topeka High has the best player in the Centennial League, Kiki Smith. "She's outstanding. She's been an all-state player for them for a long time."
