RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a weekend arrest in Manhattan.
Just before 5p.m. Saturday, officers filed a report for battery, criminal threat and disorderly conduct at Manhattan Town Center in Manhattan.
A 26-year-old man was listed as the victim and a 45-year-old man was listed as the suspect when it was reported the suspect battered the victim and then threatened to harm him.
Jimmy Ward, 45, of Junction City, was arrested on requested charges of battery and criminal threat. Ward met the requirement of $5,000 bond and is no longer in custody, according to the RCPD.
