Ann Dirking will serve as both the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at Geary Community Hospital. Alex Tyson, County Commission Chair said that Dirking has 25 years experience and has worked with the Interim CEO at the hospital, Margaret Grismer, in the past.
Dirking will serve in her capacity at Geary Community for 13 weeks.
Officials are working toward preparing for a possible partnership in the future between GCH and Stormont Vail Hospital.
