USD 475 Communications Coordinator
The Geary USD 475 Board of Education has approved the hiring of Daniel Dinkel and Abby Allen to elementary principal positions on Friday.
Dinkel will take over as principal at Lincoln Elementary during the 2024-25 school year following the retirement of longtime principal Kathi Teeter. He is currently an instructional coach at Eisenhower Elementary. During his tenure, Dinkel has also spent time as a district STEM coach and was a fourth-grade teacher at Sheridan Elementary from 2007 through 2015.
Allen will replace Spring Valley Elementary principal Sierra Jackson, who is retiring at the end of this school year. She is currently an instructional coach for the Wildcats and has been a staple at Spring Valley since 2016 as she also taught third and fifth grade classes as well. In her tenure, Allen has worked at Seitz Elementary, Lincoln Elementary and Custer Hill Elementary.
