UPDATE: K-1 8 and Spring Valley Road intersection is now open.

K-18 Highway west of Junction City from Spring Valley Road to the Blue Jay Way roundabout has been closed due to a gas leak.

Geary County Emergency Management Director Garry Berges said repairs are expected to take about three hours. There have not been any injuries.
