The Geary County Free Fair is this week

The Geary County Free Fair is this week. It officially begins Sunday, July 20, and runs through Thursday, July 24. 

The Fair begins on Sunday with the Pedal Pull at 5:00 p.m., and the 4-H Horse Show begins at 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, the Fair officially opens for exhibits. Divisions include Horticulture, Photography, Food Preparation, Textiles, and more. There is no cost to enter an exhibit.

Signature events throughout the week include:

- The 4-H Food Sale on Monday, July 21, and Tuesday, July 22. 

--4-H Dairy, Goat and Sheep Show 7 p.m. Monday, July 21

--4-H Bucket Calf and Beef Show 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 22

-- Farm Bureau Community Breakfast - 7-9 a.m. Wednesday, July 23

--4-H Swine Show 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 23

4-H Barbecue and Watermelon Feed 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. July 24

--4-H Project and Livestock Auction 6:30 p.m. July 24.
