The Saint Xavier Middle School boys' basketball team captured the Northeast Kansas Parochial League championship. Principal Shawn Augustine said that they defeated Manhattan Chief C in the first round 51-28, Manhattan B in the second round 39-22, and St. Mary's B in the championship game of the tournament, 41-33.
