Aging Well Senior Living received a donation of $1500.00 from the Neighborhood Walmart on McFarland Rd.
Jill Arnold, Walmart Pharmacist, was instrumental in securing the funds for Aging Well. Arnold shared, “We are excited to support Aging Well Senior Living and to have a continued partnership over the upcoming years.”
Aging Well is a non-profit organization focused on building a new senior living campus on Spring Valley Rd. The Aging Well campus will provide long term care in a small home design. The small homes will offer each elder a private room and private bath surrounding an open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living room. The culture will focus on family style living rather than institutional living. Assisted living apartments will also be built for those needing less care but interested in receiving the benefits of living in a senior community. The culture of the campus will be centered around purpose, empowerment, and providing honorable care.
Aging Well Senior Living continues to move towards their $3.5 million fundraising goal and so far has raised over $2.3 million. Supporters will have another opportunity to have donations matched during the Greater Geary County Match Day which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 18th. Aging Well is just one of the local organizations that supporters may support.
