Water bottles can help students in school

Posted Aug 01, 2020 3:31 AM

In the midst of the cornavirus pandemic there is an effort by a Junction City woman to help provide Tupperware water bottles to students. Melissa Stretch-Childs is coordinating the effort where you can sponsor a child going back to school at a cost of $5 for each bottle. You can purchase one of the Tupperware bottles and Childs will donate them to a local elementary school in your name at the beginning of the school year.

So more than 100 bottles have been donated and Melissa is seeking sponsors to help her give back. She wants to donadte 500 water bottles to local Kansas classrooms. Stretch-Childs will cover tax and shipping.

With new COVID-19 restrictions, every child will need a water bottle. Some children do not own their own reusable bottle.

If you are a teacher and want to bring your orders to Childs, she will give you the bottles for your own class or school.

The deadline for this effort is Aug. 12 at 5 p.m. You can message Melissa http://www.m.me/melissachilds71 with how many you would like to donate and then Venmoor or PayPal the money.
