USD 475 announcced that it was a SPECIAL day in Geary County Schools USD 475 on Tuesday as Dr. Reginald Eggleston, USD 475 Superintendent of Schools, was honored at the KSDE Board of Education Meeting for being named the Kansas School Superintendents' Association’s Superintendent of the Year.
By being named the 2026 Kansas Superintendent of the Year, Eggleston is only the third USD 475 Superintendent all-time to be named Kansas Superintendent of the Year, joining Mary Devin who claimed the award in 1999 and Max Heim who received the honor in 1990.
