RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect in connectionwith an alleged violent crime in Manhattan.
Just before 5:30p.m. Sunday, officers filed a report for aggravated burglary, violation of a protection order; condition of pre-trial orders, violation of a protection order; stalking/sexual assault/human trafficking and possession of marijuana.
A 33-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 33-year-old man was listed as the suspect. DeVanta DeShaun Walker, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 5:44 p.m. on requested charges of aggravated burglary, violation of a protection order; condition of pre-trial orders, violation of a protection order; stalking/sexual assault/human trafficking and possession of marijuana.
Walker is being held on a $50,000 bond.
