-- Geary County Commissioners Keith Ascher and Trish Giordano decided they will not hire a new Public Works Director until Kathy Tremont, a new commissioner comes on board in mid-January. Former Public Works Director&nbsp;Corey Trumpp retired on Dec. 9.&nbsp;&nbsp;

-- The Geary County Commission will not hold a meeting on Monday, Dec. 23. Their next meeting will be on Dec. 30.&nbsp;
