ELECTION DAY - Here's What you need to Know

It is General Election Day! There are a total of six races within Junction City, Grandview Plaza, and Milford. 

Races on the ballot

-- City of Junction City Commission (Three seats available)

-- Milford City Council (Two seats available)

-- Milford Mayor (One seat)

-- Grandview Plaza Council (Two seats available)

-- Grandview Plaza Mayor (One seat)

-- Geary County USD 475 School Board of Education (Three seats available)

1. 4h-Senior Center
2. 12th Street Community Center
3. Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church
4. Grandview Plaza Community Center
5. Junction City Municipal Building
6. Milford City Building
7. Zion United Church of Christ

Geary County Clerk Courtney Gilbert urged the public "to get out and make your voice heard by voting." Gilbert added, "This is your chance to vote in who you want in those seats. Every vote counts." 

The polls are open till 7:00 p.m.
