Geary County Commissioners have appointed 10 people to a new Convention & Visitor's Bureau Advisory Committee. According to information from the CVB the new members include Megan Rusch, Raquel Cinco, Rick Dykstra, Wendy Jensen, Rick Mata, Jason Keilman, Heather Hagedorn, Pat Silovsky, Tyler Downey and Ty Arneson.
There were 11 applicants for the committee.
Last fall the county commission voted 2-1 to dissolve the previous CVB committee. Those members were allowed to reapply if they if they chose to do so, but the new committee includes multiple new members.
