JCPD announces promotions

Junction City police have announced  the recent promotions of five outstanding members of our police department. During yesterday’s ceremony, these individuals were recognized for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving our community.

Kaylynn Diaz-Bliss has been promoted from Officer to Detective. Detective Diaz-Bliss has shown exemplary skills in her role, and we look forward to her continued success in investigations.

Gean Sanchez has been promoted from Patrol Officer to Patrol Sergeant. Sergeant Sanchez has consistently demonstrated leadership and a strong commitment to our community's safety.

Mitch Marston has been promoted from Patrol Sergeant to Patrol Lieutenant. Lieutenant Marston’s leadership and experience will be invaluable in his new role.

Dustin Murphy has been promoted from Lieutenant of Investigations to Captain of Investigations. Captain Murphy’s investigation expertise has been a tremendous asset to our department, and we are excited for his continued leadership.

Matt Paquette has been promoted from Patrol Lieutenant to Captain of Operations. Captain Paquette has shown exceptional leadership and operational expertise, making him an ideal fit for this important role.
