UPDATE:
Otter Creek Bridge is temporarily open but it will be closed again for repair which could possibly start as early as tomorrow. Please allow for extra time in your commute and find an alternate route when the repairs are being made.
Geary County Emergency Management Director Garry Berges has announced the temporary closure of the Otter Creek Road bridge south of Junction City. The site is about three miles south of the city and just south of Lyons Creek Road. "Had a wooden plank that was partially missing. County shops responded out there, determined it was an unsafe bridge until that plank gets repaired and the other ones get checked, said Berges.
Berges added that barricades have been put out around the bridge and there'll be no traffic there until further notice.
