MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a man for alleged domestic battery involving a child in Manhattan.
Just after 8p.m. Monday, officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, aggravated endangering a child and aggravated domestic battery, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 28-year-old woman reported a 28-year-old male suspect strangled and struck her while holding a baby and also damaged an Apple Macbook Air computer.
The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,050.
Police arrested Brandon Lee Gibson, 28, of Junction City on requested charges of aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery, criminal damage to property and aggravated endangering a child. Gibson is confined in the Riley County Jail on a total bond of $10,000.
