Dear Friends of the Winter Coat Drive,
As the weather turns colder, we are reminded how essential it is for every child in our community to stay warm. We are truly grateful for the dedication of our community in supporting our annual winter coat drive, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who has made this possible.
A special thank you goes out to our amazing seniors who attend Jimi’s Chair Yoga class. Your unwavering support and commitment to our mission have made a meaningful difference, and we appreciate every ounce of energy you pour into helping keep children in our community warm.
We also extend a huge thank you to our local Walmart stores. Your generosity and reliability in keeping coats available for us year after year have been invaluable. Because of you, we’ve been able to provide high-quality new coats for our children, bringing warmth and smiles to countless young ones.
Additionally, we are incredibly grateful to the First Presbyterian Church of Junction City, New Church of the Living God, Morris Hill Gospel Service, the Bramlage Foundation, and the Junction City Community Partners. Your support and partnership over the past four years have helped us reach countless families, keeping our elementary school kiddos warm and cared for throughout each winter season.
Finally, we would like to recognize USD 475 elementary schools for allowing us the privilege to bring new coats to students in need. Thank you for welcoming us each year and helping us reach the children who need it most.
This initiative is a true testament to the power of community, and none of this would be possible without the compassion and dedication of each person, business, and organization involved. Together, we’re ensuring that our children step into the winter season warmly, comfortably, and ready to learn.
With deepest gratitude,
Linda Gibson Founder, The House of Ruth
