When you enter Geary Community Hospital at designated entrances your first stop is a station where your temperature is checked, a series of COVID-19 related questions are asked and you are then allowed to proceed into the facility.
Hospital Interim CEO Margaret Grismer noted Tuesday that they will open their doors and screeners will go away as of April 4th. Face mask usage will still be required in the hospital and screening will be done at the point of registrations in the building. For example that could include the emergency room, laboratory and x-ray.
Information on the subject was provided to the Hospital Board of Trustees during their monthly meeting, which was held on Tuesday.
