Operation Clean Sweep is set for Saturday in Junction City. To ensure a complete head count for transportation and food you are asked that if you originally signed up for the cleanup day event on April 27th that you provide notification if you will not be able to attend this Saturday
Originally there were just over 200 volunteers signed up and officials are hoping the turn out will be the same if not more. If you wish to volunteer please Cindy Sinklier at 785-210-3603. know and you will be added to the list.
Volunteers should report to Spin City at 915 South Washington at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Busses leave at 8:30 to travel to pick up locations Bussing will be provided by First Student, Inc.
Bring gloves and drinking water. There will be extra on each bus. Lunch will be provided at noon from Smithfield Foods donated sausages and Dominos donated pizza.
