The new Geary County Sheriff is scheduled to be sworn in at 11 a.m. Monday at the County Office Building. Eric Coffman has been recommended by the Geary County Republican Central Committee for the post. That recommendation was submitted to Governor Kelly for approval.
The commission will be in session from 10 a.m. until just after noon on Monday. The agenda also includes an executive session a 11:30 a.m. on legal matters regarding EMS Services.
