Emergency management said Geary County Public Works road crews have been out since 5am Monday morning using plows and maintainers to get to all of the county roads and attempt to get them cleared of snow. There is no reason to call about when they will be getting to your road. They are out working across the county.
Remember that the drivers of these plows and maintainers had to get out of their own driveways and get to the machines so they can clear the roads. All roads in the area are still officially closed so crews can clear them. Emergency vehicles are still having problems accessing access to respond on calls. They are getting stuck. So if you need help and they can not get to you, how can they help you. Stay home and let the crews get the roads cleared.
