Junction City Commissioners have awarded a bid for tree removal at various locations to Outdoors Unlimited totaling $52,700.

A storm on June 28 caused tree damage. Among the removal locations are 64 trees on Grant Ave, and more than 20 on Rucker Rd.

Also touched on during the Tuesday night city commission meeting were multiple topics:&nbsp;

--Work on the proposed 2025 City budget is 99% complete. The property tax levy will be left at 47.115 mills.

--There will be a career fair on Sept. 11 at the Municipal Building.

--The commission meeting format has changed. Near the beginning there will be a public comment session for items on the agenda. At the end of the meeting there will be another public comment period for general issues or topics.
