Junction City Athletic Training Center, 935 E. 4th, will host their fifth annual Filthy Monkey Obstacle Course on Saturday. Open division competition begins at 9 a.m. and the kids division at 9:30 a.m.
Rick Bazan, Coordinator, said there will be a short run and then participants go into the obstacle course. "There's 21 obstacles. Some of them are mud, and some of them are wet." Bazan stated, "We always say it takes a monkey to get through the course, and your going to be filthy so let's name it the Filthy Monkey."
There will be awards and prizes including bicycle helmets, four bicycles, tote bags and batting cage tokens.
