The Junction City Blue Jays wrestling team won the championship of the Shawnee Heights Tournament on Saturday. Colton Blockcolsky at 106 pounds and Cody Owens at 165 pounds captured first place in their weight classes.
Second place finishers included:
Riley Luckenbill 113, Braden Blockolsky 120, Jayden Melton 126, Tyler Proetti 157 and Christian Simmers 190.
Third place finishers were:
Kayun Herring 138,Blake Proetti 174, Chris Coy 215 and Avery Florence 285.
A fourth place finisher included Hudson Bohanan at 150 pounds.
Junction City finished with 197 points followed by Shawnee Heights 187.5, Olathe West 181 and Spring Hill 164.5 pointa
