USD 475 has announced that the Junction City High School wrestling program had a strong showing on Saturday at the 2024 Centennial League Championships in Manhattan.
Overall, the Blue Jays had five student-athletes bring home league titles by going 4-0 on the day in their respective weight classes.
Earning championship honors on the boy’s side were Cooper Bogenhagen (165 pounds) and Chris Coy (215 pounds).
On the girl’s side, Jaidyn Alvarado (100 pounds), Juliana Villanueva (115 pounds) and Victoria Perez (190 pounds) all claimed league titles.
