The Geary County Veterans Alliance Memorial Day Program will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the C.L. Hoover Opera House, downtown Junction City.
Keynote speaker for the observance will be Isreal Waddell, Director of the Junction City Area Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Council where he serves as liaison between between Fort Riley leadership and the local community.
The observance will include the traditional Memorial Day "placing of the wreath" and taps.
