RILEY COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Friday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan driven by Barbara Ench, 75, of Manhattan, failed to yield the right of way to a 2003 Honda motorcycle, operated by Thomas Bowring, 20, of Wichita, Kansas, at the intersection of Research Park Court and N. Manhattan Avenue.
ENS transported Bowring to Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Ench was issued a citation. The RCPD released no additional details.
