On Friday at 12:50 a.m. Deputies responded to a single vehicle non-injury accident on I70 west bound near mile marker 307. Mehroj Meliboev of Brooklyn, NY was traveling east bound on the interstate I70 in his 2020 Volvo VNL760 semi-truck where he stated a deer entered the roadway.
In an attempt to evade the deer, Mehroj lost control and passed through the median into the west bound lane causing severe disabling damage to his vehicle and to the middle barrier. The I70 right-hand west bound lane near mile marker 307 was temporarily shut down until clean up of the oil and diesel is completed. Vehicle was removed from scene by TLC Wrecker Service.
