Salina Central ( 1-1 ) rolled to a 13-5 baseball win over Junction City ( 1-1 ) at Rathert Field Friday night. JCHS coach James Denton noted that the Mustangs scored seven runs in the third inning. "Defensively we had a ton of errors in that third inning. I want to say there were four errors, and defensively is usually where we're sound. "
The two teams split a doubleheader this week with Junction City defeating Salina Central 12-9 in Salina Thursday night.
Junction City will play McPherson and Great Bend Tuesday in McPherson.
