Geary County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service report that isolated severe storms are possible late this afternoon and evening, with greater chances for severe storms moving in from the northwest tonight into the early morning hours Friday. Damaging wind gusts and large hail will be the main hazards, although a tornado or two is also possible.
