RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect for alleged child sex crimes.
Just after 10:30a.m. Thursday, police arrested 64-year-old Kirk Lee Hartgenbush of Manhattan, in the 700 block of Allen Road, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
He is being held on a $100,000 bond on requested charges that include 24 counts of sexual exploitation of a child; possess media of a child under age 18. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in March 2026.
