Junction City Commissioners have approved an economic expansion development agreement with Michelin / Camso.
The City will offer funding to aid in land acquisition, waive building permit fees, and extend the current offer of Land Bank lots (45) to qualified full-time employees.
Michelin/CAMSO is expanding its agricultural and tread manufacturing capabilities, and its' workforce.
According to city staff over the next couple of years, Michelin/CAMSO should hit its target of 348 total FTEs. It already exceeded its original goal from a 2018 Agreement.
