
On Thursday, July 30 at 4:30 p.m. on W. 9th Street you can join the Geary County Historical Society and Junction City Main Street as they celebrate a collaborative effort to beautify downtown while preserving and sharing the stories that shaped our community.
Nearly 20 years ago, freestanding historical signs were installed as part of Junction City’s last major streetscape project. Now, it’s time to refresh them for a new generation. This project will include updated information, restored features, and a renewed focus on highlighting the rich history of our downtown.
