The Geary County Sheriff's Department reported that early Tuesday Deputies responded to US Highway 77-mile marker 156 North Bound for an injury accident.
Ousmane Camara of Junction City was driving his 2024 Volkswagen Taos, when he was slowing down due to traffic, and was rear-ended by Robert Mayer of Abilene, who was driving his 2016 Ford Mustang. Camara was taken from the scene by Junction City EMS for complaints of pain. The Volkswagen had minor damage to the rear and was removed by a family member.
The Mustang had front end damage and was towed from the scene by Renegade Wrecker Service.
